  We toured the Mansion today to see the Christmas Decorations and it was fantastic. Our tour group was over twenty people which was a crowd, but the exuberance of our tour guide, Lindsey, more than made up for it. The total tour took an hour and 15 minutes which was about right, but if you can't climb stairs you might miss half the tour. This home is not a museum but it has the feel of age and it gives face to the Victorian Era it was built in. The mansion is smaller than you would think from pictures of the outside, but enormous for a home of that day. Other than the extraordinary Christmas decorations, the parquet floors throughout, the windows and stained glass are high points.
  Last word, Christmas tour was absolutely worth the price of admission, entertaining, educational, interesting, and just fun. Free entry Feb to Sept, when you bring a paying guest, is great for locals. Lindsey was terrific as a tour guide and one of the owners, JT, stopped to talk for a minute.. We will definitely return for a tour after the Christmas decorations come down.
